Week 1-2

Expansion is important to every culture. Expansion allows a culture or religion to gain more purpose in the world and show people what it has to offer. With expansion cultures also tend to gain a lot more because they gain whatever they take over from the previous countries.
Without expansion the world would never advance and move forward. Expansion allows cultures to expand their technology and gain better resources to make their culture the best possible.
During the sixteenth century Islam began to expand and began to create better opportunities for itself. During this time it had three big expansions which allowed Islams limits to expand tremendous amounts. Islam expanded so much that it could of given off the belief that the world was becoming Muslim. Every culture needs expansion without it they would never survive.

  1. It’s so true on what you’re saying. If you look at history, every major empire or county looked to expand at some point or another during there high point. Japan during the early 1900's, Nazi Germany in the 1930's and the American colonies with the Louisiana Purchase. Every culture at one point or another does attempt or reaches expansion.

  2. One amazing strategy of the Ottomans was they way they handled captured lands. The Ottoman Empire was known for control over most of the world, but every country that tries to expand for resources, overpopulation, or whatever reason, when they do leadership and authority are most empires downfalls. The Ottomans really had a firm trickle down chain of command that really held the empire together.
